Project Management (estimating)
In order for a project to be successfully completed on-time and within budget, it is critical that all of the project details are thoroughly reviewed. For each project that CAAWS bids, our Chief Estimator will perform a detailed take-off and specification review. Using our proprietary estimating software, we will generate an estimate and proposal which clearly defines our scope of work and the estimated cost to construct the project. In addition, our Chief Estimator will provide the required shop drawings and project specific submittals to the Project Engineer in advance of the installation and submit field measured as-built drawings and material certifications at the completion of the project. All of this is done using our in-house CAD system and is provided either electronically or in printed form.
Once CAAWS is awarded a project, the contract review, material delivery and crew mobilization is overseen by the Project Manager. They will be in constant communication with our client and crew to insure all project milestones are met. Field Crews are comprised of a Superintendent and a dedicated QA/QC technician whose primary job is to oversee on-site quality assurance and documentation of all testing. Depending on the project needs, crews will range in size from 2 to 10 technicians.
