Temporary Covers

Temporary Containment

Some of the projects that we are involved with only require that the liner contains contaminates for a short period of time. The most common uses are decontamination pads or contaminated soil stockpile areas. Some of the factors that should be considered when selecting the material are: chemical compatibility, UV stability, puncture strength, durability and installation method.

Stockpile Covers

CAAWS is routinely asked to provide thin-film materials that are used to temporarily cover various materials. Depending on the application, these materials range from 6 mil up to 30 mils in thickness. The material is supplied in prefabricated panels and can be installed by the customer. The materials can be sewn, taped or welded together. Often times a grid of UV stable sandbags are utilized to hold the material in place.
